OCD    People who suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) tend to experience thoughts that constantly pop in their heads. These thoughts are unwanted because they tend to be about feared situations. Sufferers of OCD try to cope with these unwanted thoughts by doing certain rituals so as to help to neutralise these wanted thoughts. These rituals can be mental compulsions such as repetatively counting in one's head; or physical compulsions such as washing hands repeatedly.
